Simply taking drugs will not result in the death penalty, and it is not a crime. The maximum penalty is administrative detention for 15 days and a fine of CNY 2,000, and there is the possibility of forced drug rehabilitation. Organizing others to take drugs together and providing places for others to take drugs is a crime, with a sentence of less than three years. However, drug trafficking is a felony, and the amount involved is large, and the death penalty can be imposed. As for politics, you can criticize and oppose, but you cannot organize others to criticize and oppose. If you criticize the government for doing something wrong, or if you are treated unfairly, the government will help you solve it, usually very efficiently. But if it is beyond the government's ability to solve the problem, the government will block your public criticism. As a foreigner, do not engage in activities to overthrow the government, do not organize others to oppose the government, and you will basically not have any problems politically.

I agree with the blogger that religious beliefs should be respected but thankfully China's political elections are different from the West's "one man, one vote" which is the main reason for China's economic growth and social progress. In contrast to the political conflict and social polarization in the West, the excesses of liberal democracy in the West have led to nothing but conflict, with the interests of all groups suffering at the expense of the lower classes. It is the electoral system of the West that is the greatest social scourge of all human society, and we must have laws and regulations, social and moral values that govern our speech and behavior, and which will only lead to destruction if we are too free.

In fact, Chinese people love this country more than you think. You may see many haters on the Internet, but in fact, you will find that they only exist on the Internet, and they may not even live in China. Therefore, in real China, you can‘t slander the country with the locals, otherwise you will encounter unexpected trouble.

China has 1.4 billion population, if none of them are of no greed, then this is a Heaven, not China. In general, China tries to change, but you know, some changes need time.

One thing is very true. If you are cheated (although China is safe, it is not absolutely safe), you can call the police immediately, dial 110, the police will handle foreign-related cases quickly. In addition, the Chinese police are very reliable. No matter what difficulties you have, you can find them because they are the "people's police"

Every country has its own political correctness that is developed from its history and culture. China had been in constant wars for about 200 years until 1949 when the current China was established, so the political correctness of China is unification of the country. Don't talk about independence of any part of China, including Tibet, Xinjiang, Taiwan, etc, otherwise you will get in trouble in China.

You can practice Christianity freely on your own, in your home or in churches, as long as you don't try hard to preach to others in public. Islam is freely practiced in Muslim areas or northwest region, but recruiting and preaching in public is frowned up in non-Muslim regions. Buddhism is widely tolerated and practiced, you can see monks openly asking for donation in streets.

In the west, Christians are no longer allowed to evangelise in most places. Doctors abd nurses are not allowed to pray with or for patients if the patient is not a Christian. Some even ban wearing of religious symbols in the workplace. Certain sects still try to knock on doors to evangelise, but most chirches realise these efforts are often fruitless and counterproductive, and are often indulged by believers to ease their conscience to obey "the Great Commission". Worse, evangelism is used to bring in more income for the leaders - more drvotees, more tithes!

Welcome to China. There are a few suggestions. If you want a Chinese Bible, you can go to church, and the church will give it to you for free. Similarly, to obtain the Quran, one can go to a mosque. Every city has churches and mosques. In China, the difference between Muslim faith and Christian or Catholic faith is that Catholicism is more dispersed, with churches not only in cities but also in some rural areas. Muslims, except for the predominantly Muslim areas in northwest China, have large Muslim communities in other cities, but in rural areas, there may not be Muslim mosques. 2. Whether you are a Catholic or a Christian believer, it is strongly recommended to visit Muslim communities more often. There are very delicious snacks there. Of course, please respect the faith of Muslims and do not think about buying pork products in Muslim communities. 3 In China, remember one thing: you can go to the police for any difficulty, not just if you lose something, even asking for directions, going to the police station for a glass of water when thirsty, or going to the police station hall to cool off when hot. 4 If you encounter any unfair treatment in China, call 12345 directly. There will be staff to help you communicate and solve problems. And we will reply to you within 24 hours to resolve the issue.

Go to a church. Churches can receive free Bibles. Similarly, if you want the Quran, you can go to the mosque for free. Every city, even if it is not a predominantly Muslim city in northwest China, has a Muslim gathering area with mosques. Similarly, every city and even rural area has churches. However, if you want to get some Buddhist scriptures, I'm sorry, you may need to spend money to buy them, because unlike the Bible, which has only one book, there are many Buddhist scriptures.

Selling religious books is LEGAL and not prohibited in China, but in places of worship, be it temples, churches or mosques, religious books are usually provided for free.
